Media literacy is the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, create and communicate using various forms of media it involves understanding the role of media content, and critically assessing the messages and information presented through media channels.

Examples-: While watching TV, a person sees an advertisement for a beauty product claiming to erase wrinkles. Media literacy skills help to us recoganize the use of persuasive techniques, such as testimonials, appealing visuals or exaggerated claims and question the validity of the product effectiveness.

Judging the reliability, credibility and value of the media content.
Examples-: A person comes across a viral social media post that makes an alarming claim such as a conspiracy theory or misinformation about a health issue. Media literacy enables them to fact. check the information by consulting credible sources. understand the potential motives behind spreading such content. and decide whether to share or debunk it.
